Welcome to the 2024 DCHS Skills Development Camp in Troy, Michigan. The focus of this camp is on individual skill DEVELOPMENT and is open to all ages and skill levels. Throughout the four-day camp (8 on-ice sessions) your athlete will learn how to perform various techniques and be challenged to become a more efficient skater, puck handler, passer, and shooter. Our professional staff are equipped with teaching techniques and resources that will ensure your athlete will develop in a constructive, controlled, and FUN environment.

Phil Osaer - Head of Goaltending Scouting and Development (Detroit Red Wings)
Kevin Gibson - Amateur Scout (Detroit Red Wings)
Corey Crocker - amateur Scout (Detroit Red Wings)

In addition to the on-ice portion your athlete will receive 4 hockey specific off ice fitness sessions that cover agility, speed, power, balance, core strength, coordination, flexibility, teamwork, plus much more. You will also receive 4 professionally developed well balance classroom sessions on topics such as internet safety, nutrition, goal setting, hockey tactics, leadership, equipment fitting, injury prevention, and a typical day in the life of an NHL player. The highlight of our camp is when your athlete will skate alongside Stanley Cup Champion Danny Cleary and other NHL players in our extremely memorable full ice game. The Danny Cleary Hockey School is always full of surprises, and you never know who's going to step onto the ice at the Troy Sports Center.
